What counts as a resource?
Anything with its own cloud ID that Tessera tracks: instances, buckets, databases, security groups, IAM roles, DNS records and so on. We count the resources discovered in your connected accounts, averaged over the month, so a short spike doesn't move you up a plan.
What happens if we go over our band?
Nothing breaks. We'll tell you, and if you stay over for two months in a row we'll suggest the next plan. We don't charge surprise overage fees.
Is the free assessment really free?
Yes. It's a one-time, read-only scan and a findings report. No card, and no obligation to buy. The report is yours to keep.
Do you charge per user?
No. Every paid plan includes unlimited users. Seat pricing pushes teams to share logins, and that's bad for security.

Can a consultancy manage our account?
Yes. If a Tessera partner migrated or manages your estate, they can run the account with you. Your price stays the published price.
